what is pupa?

Pupa is an experimental music duo from Singapore. They like to make noise, eat good food and have some laughs.

Are we pronounced PEW-PAH or POO-PAH? That aspect has always been confusing. You get different answers from both members.

Pupa can also mean many things. We took a week to decide on the name.

Names are very tricky when we want to identify things like songs, album names and our own band name. Pupa can also be taken as an acronym.

Pupa is also the in between state of liveliness, especially for your everyday insect friend. It is the state that bridges between young and mature, child and adult and caterpillars and butterflies.

To understand that statement, you must know what "lepak" means first. To provide that definition is not within our scope at the moment.
